LOCAL
LOCAL CUISINE IS ALSO PART OF OUR STORY
Casa Velha Restaurante was founded in 2012 on Praia das Moitas, in Amontada, Ceará, at a time when there were still few restaurant options in the region. The idea began in a simple way, within a family that saw in the flavors of the sea an opportunity to better welcome those who came to discover this special part of the coast. Created by a humble family — Eve, his wife, and their two children — the restaurant was born with the intention of valuing what is most genuine in the region: simplicity, hospitality, and the flavor of local ingredients. From the beginning, the purpose has always been to offer food prepared with care, in a welcoming setting where visitors could experience the true essence of Moitas up close. Fresh fish, seafood, and grilled dishes reveal the authentic flavors of Ceará’s coast. Over time, Casa Velha Restaurante became a point of reference for those looking to enjoy good grilled fish and live a simple, genuine, and heartfelt experience. More than serving meals, the restaurant has also built stories. Over the years, many friendships have been born there, around the table, through conversations, flavors, and encounters that are part of the soul of this place.
